Stories and Poems for Children - Submissions Now Being Accepted
65Children love stories and poems
I'm looking for submissions for Literature For Kids
Literature For Kids has been my online project since 1996. It started as a place to write about great books - especially award winning books. At first it was on a third-party site, but eventually I purchased a domain name. Life being what it is, my site had to be taken down as I struggled to take care of my own family.
Now all my children are adults and I still love children's literature. I've recently redeveloped the site into an online literary magazine for children. The first issue was published on January 1, 2011.
I need submissions of articles, poems, and stories for children up to about age thirteen. If you're interested in submitting, please see the submissions page to find out more about how to submit your work.

Your resource box
Writers: Your story, poem, or article page will include a resource box for your photo and a short bio. Website links are allowed.
Here's a sample... you can see the resource box under the story: Michael's Missing Book by Guy Belleranti. Don't be intimidated by his extensive publication credits. I'm happy to publish new writers too.

Hi LindaJM,
I've encouraged fellow hubber, Kristine Manley, to read this hub and perhaps contact you. Kristine has written a hub called, "5 Creative Ways to Encourage Your Child to Read," which might make a good article or link for your new ezine.
Good luck with your new ezine.
Wow, just what I have been looking for!!! I have just recently published my first children's story with Publish America, and I'm still sitting on the fence of not knowing what to expect from their company, so far I am not pleased.... I am working today but hope to read more about this later tonight, glad to have found you,
Maggie May

Hi LindaJM,
Good luck in your new endeavor to create an online children's magazine. I have sent you an email regarding a possible submission of my hub pages article, "Using Fiction to Help Kids Learn About Alzheimer's." There would be no charge should you decide to use it. The hub page address for it is http://hubpages.com/hub/Using-Fiction-To-Help-Kids
